Shape pertains to the use of areas in two-dimensional space that can be defined by edges. Shapes can be geometric (e.g., square, circle, hexagon, etc.) or organic (such as the shape of a puddle, blob, leaf, boomerang, etc.). Shapes are defined by other elements of art: Line, Form, Space, Value, Color, Texture.
Texture- The characteristic visual and tactile quality of the surface of a work of art resulting from the way in which the materials are used.
Value- Refers to the lightness of darkness of a color.
Rule of thirds- Photos are divided into thirds with two imaginary lines vertically and two lines horizontally making three columns, three rows, and nine sections in the images.
